Salado Schools
The Salado Independent School District operates four campuses in the south central part of Bell County. The SISD offers a comprehensive curriculum focusing on academic achievement from early childhood through the twelfth grade. The Salado schools are also centers of the community for parents and community members who support the schools through PTAs and volunteer programs.


Thomas Arnold Elementary

Thomas Arnold Elementary and the Salado community have been historically linked from the early days of the area. The school features a big outdoor playground, various sports, experienced staff and excels in academic programs for young children. At Salado Jr. High the mission is to provide a student-centered learning environment promoting responsibility, self-discipline, and self-motivation to prepare students for social and academic challenges. Students are encouraged to talk with counselors, teachers, and principals to learn about school curriculum, course offerings, and extra-curricular activities at any time. With programs like Eagle Earnings Positive Incentive Program it promotes positive behavior such as pride, honesty, respect, self-discipline, self-esteem, service, and scholarship

Salado High School

Salado High School won the 2013 Academic UIL District Championship, Regional Championship, State Championship and was ranked in the top 5% of high schools in the nation by Newsweek. The school's teacher-to-student ratio is ranked among the highest in the area, the educational environment is excellent and the student involvement with teachers is interactive and very good. The advanced programs at Salado High School prepare dedicated students for both college and graduate school.
